“When a child learns to pause, breathe, and try again... that’s yoga doing its magic.”

- Heather Ellis, Founder, HEY Yoga

Real Yoga, Real Joy

At HEY! Yoga, we believe children deserve more than just movement—they deserve mindfulness, confidence, and joy in every breath. Our classes are built on alignment-based yoga, thoughtfully adapted to meet kids where they are. We blend structure with play, helping children build strength, focus, and emotional balance in an environment that feels like fun but teaches so much more.

Every class is led by trained instructors who know how to connect, encourage, and inspire. We focus on safe movement, creative expression, and emotional well-being—offering children tools they can carry with them far beyond the mat.

Why Yoga Works for Kids

Yoga supports children’s development in ways that are physical, emotional, and social. Here are just a few of the benefits:

  • Builds body awareness, strength, balance, and flexibility

  • Encourages focus, self-regulation, and emotional resilience

  • Creates space for calm, breathing, and stress reduction

  • Promotes confidence, creativity, and a positive self-image

  • Helps develop social skills through cooperative play and shared experience

From the inside out, yoga helps kids grow into grounded, joyful, and mindful humans.

Sample Classes

  • Short attention spans, big imaginations. Our preschool classes combine gentle movement, sensory cues, and silly fun to help kids feel their breath, body, and big emotions.

    Sample Class:

    • Welcome: Breathing ball + singing bell

    • Warm-up (on backs): Spinal twist, Happy Baby

    • Animal Poses: Cat + Cow, add core engagement

    • Down Dog Time: Downward Dog → Doggy Split

    • Game: Yoga dice (hold 2 poses based on the number rolled)

    • Reflection: What was your favorite pose? Show us!

    • Savasana: Quiet rest with soft music or guided imagery

  • Kids at this age love stories, structure, and getting a little silly—so we balance breath, movement, and imagination to build focus, strength, and confidence.

    Sample Class:
